About the role
Execute real-time trading and generation dispatch in the National Electricity Market, while developing strategies to maximise commercial returns from CleanCo’s energy portfolio. Analyse market trends and pricing, produce forecasts, collaborate with trading and market specialists, and improve trading processes and tools. A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline is required, along with experience in energy market trading, wholesale electricity markets, or financial trading. Candidates should bring strong analytical and commercial capabilities, knowledge of energy market fundamentals, and experience with trading systems, forecasting tools, and quantitative analysis.
