Residential Mortgage Securitization Trader - Associate

About the role

Source residential mortgage collateral, analyze collateral and transaction features, develop relative-value views, and execute RMBS securitizations and related capital markets transactions. Monitor pipeline, inventory, hedging, and desk performance, while improving analytical tools and communicating strategy and opportunities to stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong quantitative and analytical ability, clear communication, relationship-building skills, and a strong interest in financial markets. Preferred qualifications include Python and analytics workflows, Excel and PowerPoint, financial modeling, and experience in structured products, mortgage markets, trading, capital markets, or securitization.
