Senior Sales Trader

About the role

Execute and manage customer trades across UK gas and power markets, while advising key clients on trading strategies, market conditions, pricing, and energy risk management. Develop trading services and controls, produce market and customer analysis, resolve complex client issues, and mentor junior colleagues. Requires extensive experience in sales trading, energy trading, risk management, or a related commercial role, with strong knowledge of UK gas and power markets, wholesale structures, hedging, and energy risk products. Candidates should demonstrate commercial judgment, analytical and communication skills, ETRM and trading-platform experience, and the ability to manage client portfolios and mentor colleagues; a relevant degree or equivalent industry experience is required.
