About the role
Develop and execute MISO virtual electricity trading strategies, manage daily positions and portfolio exposure, and identify opportunities using market pricing, grid constraints, and supply-demand analysis. Monitor capital efficiency and credit exposure, refine strategies based on market performance, and operate within established trading controls and risk parameters. Candidates must have hands-on MISO virtual electricity trading experience, a verifiable history of profitable results, and advanced knowledge of Day-Ahead and Real-Time market dynamics, LMP, congestion, and price drivers. They should be able to independently develop and execute strategies, manage positions and capital or credit requirements, and make timely decisions; quantitative analysis or experience in other wholesale electricity markets is advantageous.
