About the role
Manage execution and trading strategies for Australian ASX and OTC electricity products across spot, options, caps, and the futures curve, while optimizing existing proprietary and portfolio positions. Collaborate with quantitative, technology, operations, and risk teams to test models, monitor performance, ensure accurate nominations and settlement, and evaluate post-trade outcomes. Candidates must have at least five years of experience trading Australian energy markets and a proven track record in book management. They should understand fundamental market drivers and quantitative methods, follow disciplined risk and documentation processes, and communicate effectively with trading, quantitative, operations, and risk teams.
