Product Engineer (Quant)

About the role

Build and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, data pipelines, and financial data infrastructure for trading, investment, portfolio management, and risk workflows. Own product features end-to-end, collaborating with financial users and teams to design, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve reliable, accurate, and auditable systems. Candidates should have strong production backend or product engineering experience, proficiency in Python, and a solid understanding of SQL, databases, data modeling, APIs, data pipelines, and distributed systems. Experience with financial or trading data and products, ideally in a hedge fund, trading firm, asset manager, investment bank, fintech, or financial-data company, is strongly preferred, along with the ability to translate ambiguous financial workflows into robust software.
