Short Term Power Trader & Operations Specialist

About the role

Optimize ENGIE's Italian power assets by managing dispatch and trading strategies across day-ahead, intraday, and ancillary services markets, maximizing margins while controlling risk. Manage short-term trading positions, settlements, daily margin calculations, reporting, and improvements to models, processes, and IT tools. A degree in Finance or Economics is requested, along with strong quantitative and analytical skills and proficiency in Python and Excel; VBA is a plus. Energy-market knowledge is an advantage, while trading-environment experience is a strong plus; candidates should also be flexible for 24/7 availability and demonstrate teamwork, attention to detail, and risk awareness.
