About the role
Monitor Italian and European gas markets, execute short-term spot trading strategies, and optimize the gas portfolio in coordination with power generation assets. Manage nominations, daily gas balances, trade capture, risk exposure, and reporting, while developing quantitative tools to support trading decisions. A master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field and at least five years of relevant experience are required. Candidates should understand gas markets and power generation economics, have strong analytical skills and knowledge of Excel and Python, and be familiar with trading tools such as Trayport and ETRM systems.
