About the role
Build and manage an emissions trading portfolio across North American compliance markets, trading allowances, offsets, and related positions through spot, futures, options, auctions, and OTC transactions. Monitor market and regulatory developments, serve customer and counterparty needs, communicate trade ideas, and oversee position management, risk reporting, and adherence to risk limits. Requires 3–7+ years of emissions trading experience with direct P&L responsibility and deep knowledge of North American compliance carbon markets, program design, and auction mechanics. Candidates should have a track record of building or growing a trading book, strong quantitative and analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Python is a plus.
