About the role
Define and lead trading, market analysis, and optimisation strategies for the European PV and BESS portfolio across wholesale and ancillary power markets. Develop dispatch, revenue, forecasting, and hedging approaches, while building the processes, tools, and trading team and collaborating with commercial, asset management, investment, and technical teams. Requires hands-on power trading experience with P&L accountability, experience managing or building a trading team, and familiarity with front-of-the-meter PV, BESS, or other flexible assets. Candidates should understand relevant power markets, PPAs, hedging, and risk management; strong quantitative skills are expected, while Python, SQL, optimisation tools, and German market knowledge are advantages.
