About the role
The Spot Market Trader will execute real-time trading activities and dispatch generation assets into the National Electricity Market while ensuring compliance with market rules. They will also develop trading strategies, analyze market trends, and provide accurate forecasts to optimize the commercial value of the generation portfolio. Candidates must hold a bachelor degree in Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline. Proven experience in energy market trading or financial trading environments, along with strong analytical and quantitative skills, is required.
