About the role

Set and execute the commercial strategy for Origin’s US Gulf Coast LNG position, including cargo marketing, hedging, contract management, and counterparty negotiations. Originate new LNG opportunities, manage international oil, LNG, and coal exposures, and present trading strategies and outcomes to senior management and the Risk Committee. Requires physical LNG trading or origination experience, including cargo marketing, term and spot deals, and negotiation of relevant agreements, plus at least three years in international energy markets. Candidates should understand Australian and international energy markets, LNG and related commodity pricing and derivatives, and have a quantitative degree and the ability to communicate complex structures effectively.
