SENIOR GAS TRADER

About the role

Trade short-term gas on the PSV and TTF markets, manage physical gas flows and balancing, and support the integration of gas and power portfolios for CCGT plants. Operate the tolling contract, contribute to emissions and power scheduling activities, produce market and P&L reports, develop quantitative decision-support tools, and monitor trading records and risk limits. A master’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline is required, along with approximately five years of experience in gas trading, gas logistics or dispatching, or portfolio management. Candidates should know the Italian gas market and thermal generation economics, be proficient in Excel and familiar with Python, trading platforms and ETRM systems, and have fluent English; power scheduling, EUA, or tolling experience is an advantage.
